BREAKING NEWS: UGA VII HAS DIED

The AJC has just reported that Uga VII has died of an apparent heart attack. He was in his second year as the Dawgs' official mascot.

Georgia sideline reporter Loran Smith said, "Uga has gone the way of all great bulldogs...up in the sky."

Uga VII, named "Loran's Best" after Loran Smith, had a 16-7 record during his reign as the mascot, which was the shortest in the school's history.
