I looked at ncaafootball.com today to find out what company the Dawgs are in for a few different categories. Take a lot at the teams we're around. (Stats: NCAA)
Total offense:
UTEP, Temple, Marshall, Miami (OH), Tulane, Ohio, Virginia, GEORGIA, Louisiana-Lafayette, Minnesota, UCF, San Diego State, Clemson, Syracuse, Colorado, East Carolina, Kent State
Total defense:
Colorado State, Indiana, Arkansas State, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Louisiana-Monroe, GEORGIA, Purdue, Minnesota, Baylor, Syracuse, Bowling Green, Miami (OH)
Turnover margin (we're 118th out of 120):
UNLV, Rice, Western Michigan, Ball State, Buffalo, Mississippi State, New Mexico State, Tulane, West Virginia, Purdue, North Texas, Maryland, GEORGIA, Nevada, Miami (OH)
That's the company we're in. If we stay in that company, our program will totally self-destruct (if it hasn't already). We need to make some serious changes. Start with letting Mark Richt make the tough decisions on his own (fire Willie Martinez, fire Stacey Searels, fire Mike Bobo, maybe fire some more coaches). If he can't do that, then it's time for him to go.
As I previously stated, we need to do something to become a winning football team again.
