This Saturday (September 19), the Dawgs will travel to Fayetteville to play the Arkansas Razorbacks. Coming off a 41-37 win over South Carolina, Georgia will need to play very good offense in order to win this game. Arkansas had a bye week last Saturday. Their first game of the year was a 48-10 win over Missouri State.
The Georgia-Arkansas game will be on ESPN at 7:45 PM Eastern Time.
Past results from this series show that Georgia is heavily favored. The Dawgs have won five games in a row over the Razorbacks, and Georgia has never lost in Fayetteville. The last time the two teams played, Georgia won 23-20 in Athens. However, even though the numbers favor the Bulldogs, Georgia's offense will really need to step up if they want to win.
In addition, ESPN is reporting that Caleb King will make his season debut this weekend for Georgia. As long he gains some yards and make some cuts away from tacklers, it should be easy for him to overtake Richard Samuel as the starter.
GAME OF THE WEEK: #1 Florida vs. Tennessee (Gainesville)
What is there to say? Florida will win big time.
Other major games:
Texas Tech at #2 Texas
#19 Nebraska at #13 Virginia Tech
Those are the only good games this weekend (besides Georgia at Arkansas, of course).
