Gamecocks Lose Starting DT for Georgia Game

South Carolina defensive tackle Ladi Ajiboye will miss the Gamecocks' first three games this year. He was suspended following an arrest on marijuana charges. South Carolina is going to play Georgia in Week 2 of the season, so this suspension includes the game against the Dawgs.

Ajiboye did say that one positive thing came out of the suspension:
"I feel that worked out for the better because I feel like I'm in better shape because I lost so much fat. I was pretty fat, I'm not going to lie. It wasn't all muscle."

This only causes us to wonder how "inactivity" caused someone to lose a ton of weight. You usually lose weight from exercising, and Ajiboye missed a lot of practice due to the suspension. This makes us wonder if he maybe cut down on the marijuana.
