Two Dawgs Start in Super Bowl XLIII

Two Dawgs started in the Super Bowl on Sunday, which the Steelers won 27-23. However, it was difficult for Dawg fans who determine their pro football loyalties based on college football to decide which way to root. Here's why.

Both teams had a former Bulldog player starting on offense. For the Cardinals, it was Leonard Pope. For the Steelers, it was the great Hines Ward (who, incidentally, loves being in the middle of fights when there is one).

I went for the Steelers because I like the AFC more than the NFC and because Hines Ward was a greater player at Georgia than Leonard Pope. However, you could have thought differently and wanted the Cardinals to win, or you didn't care at all. However, for those of you going for the Cardinals - WE BEAT YOU!
