Stacy Searels and Mike Bobo have confirmed that Searels is now the running game coordinator at Georgia. The Chattanooga Times-Free Press first reported the story. Both Searels and Bobo stated that nothing will change in terms of responsibilites or how they work together.

Auburn came after Searels after the 2008 season, but Georgia has now managed to keep him in Athens. Many Bulldog fans consider this a smart move by Mark Richt as it will most likely give him more flexibility in compensation adjustments in the future.
