On the evening before national signing day, Georgia lost a huge recruiting battle when five-star cornerback Greg Reid committed to Florida State. Reid announced his decision at a 7 PM press conference in Valdosta, GA.
Reid, who decommitted from Florida a few weeks ago, had narrowed his choices down to Florida State, Georgia, and Alabama.
This is not a huge loss for the Dawgs, but Reid did seem like he wouldn't go to Georgia. Let's just hope Richt can reel in a few of the top recruits today to complete an otherwise solid class.
