Dennis Felton Fired As Georgia Head Coach

It has been announced that head Georgia basketball coach Dennis Felton has been fired. A news conference has been scheduled for 11 AM tomorrow morning to discuss the situation. Assistant coach Pete Hermann will take over as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Felton ends his career at Georgia with an overall record of 84-91. Although he won one SEC tournament, his teams rarely played good on offense and had a terrible record away from Stegeman Coliseum in Athens.

Possible candidates to replace Felton are Anthony Grant, Brad Stephens, and Jeff Capel. Other candidates mentioned by Bulldog fans include Tubby Smith, Scott Drew, Tom Izzo, Sean Miller, Jamie Dixon, and Bobby Knight.

I would like to wish Dennis Felton good luck wherever he should end up coaching next.
