December 20 Bowl Results

EagleBank Bowl: Wake Forest 29, Navy 19
Wake Forest QB Riley Skinner went 11-for-11 and threw the go-ahead touchdown pass to Ben Wooster with 7:52 left, leading Wake to a victory over the Midshipmen. Skinner was voted the MVP and he redeemed himself for a terrible performance against Navy in the regular season.

New Mexico Bowl: Colorado State 40, Fresno State 35
Colorado State won a bowl game for the first time since 2001 as Gartrell Johnson rushed for 285 yards. Johnson, who was named the game's MVP, added 90 yards receiving to make 375 total yards for him in the game. The teams played poor defense as most of the game was offensive driving and scoring.

St. Petersburg Bowl: South Florida 41, Memphis 14
South Florida dominated Memphis early and that ended up helping them dominate the Tigers. Quaterback Matt Grothe threw for 236 yards and ran for another 82 yards. The junior quarterback surpassed West Virginia's Pat White as the Big East's career total offense leader. Grothe earned the MVP award for the game.

Las Vegas Bowl: Arizona 31, Brigham Young 21
After four years of setting every major passing record for his school, it took plenty of long throws that led to three final touchdowns to end his career on a good note. He ended his college career throwing for 325 yards and 2 TDs and leading his team to a bowl win.
