Georgia Knocks LSU Out of Title Race

It was a good game in Baton Rouge as the loser would be knocked out of the national title race for good. The Dawgs came out early, as Darryl Gamble returned an interception for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage in the game. LSU answered quickly with a Jarrett Lee touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell. After the 7-7 tie was broken by a Fred Munzenmaier 1 yard run, Georgia was ahead for the rest of the game.

Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford was selected as CBS's MVP of the game, as he was 17 for 26 with 249 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown. However, Darryl Gamble was selected as the runner up for the MVP because of two interception returns for touchdowns.

And now I'm going to take a shot at Florida's Urban Meyer: he should be MURDERED for running up the score like that on a helpless opponent. He was being selfish and just wanted to boost his team's poll ratings. After blocking three kicks in the first half, that was just not right.
